As a young entrepreneur I used to sit on the top of “my hill” pondering over the secrets of success. I didn’t have any money, but I was desperate to make some and make myself a name and a place in the world. Over a period of many years, I did make some money and I lost some money too. I always used to come back to “my hill” where I used to ponder, reflect and meditate. I always cogitated on the same question.
Why is it that some people attain success very easily and others, no matter how hard they try, never accomplish their goals?
After much meditation and research, as well as being a full time businessman actually working in the entrepreneurial field, many things were revealed to me. What I wanted to know about was success. I considered that I knew everything there was to know about failure! The discoveries that I made were nothing short of phenomenal and over the next few pages I will explain them all in detail. My first major discovery was that there are two types of success.
The first type of success is what I would call intuitive success. I have come to the conclusion that a great many people have become eminently successful, intuitively. These people include sales people, politicians, actors, actresses, entrepreneurs and many others who have attained fabulous success, wealth and recognition and are from all walks of life. They don’t really know what it is that they do to become successful and sustain that success. They just carry-on doing whatever it is that they do and they become more successful. They go from success to success intuitively. Everything they touch seems to turn to gold.
The second type of success is what I would call conscious success. This type of success is for people like you and me, who have seen with their own eyes the abundance the world has to offer and would very much like to participate in some of the spoils. It just so happens, that to us, all the goodies always seem just out of reach, for ourselves, at least! We know what we want and we try hard to improve. We look toward self-help books, and we try to find a success formula that will work for us and help propel us onward and upward. We search for an action plan that will work. We keep trying different approaches, we keep buying self-help books, and we never give up. Sometimes we gain a little ground! This is conscious success! And hard work it is too!
After over twenty years research into the human mind, particularly the teleological aspect (goal seeking) and research into high performance human behavior, as well as being a full time businessman, one thing became very obvious to me. This became obvious to me because I was in the field of making money and attaining success. What became obvious to me, may not have become obvious to someone who may have been studying the brain with, say, some other motive in mind.
Someone who has been researching the brain with a view to finding the cure to an illness, or some other research may not have come up with the same conclusions that I have come up with. My total research has been geared up to one thing. One thing only. How we can best use our minds to accomplish success, make money, achieve happiness and reach our goals in the shortest space of time. These things I wanted to know! I spent over twenty years going into every aspect of the mind that would help me understand its innermost secrets. I made some remarkable discoveries.
The common denominator of all who achieve success intuitively is that they relax and visualize the future as they desire it. If you want to attain success consciously I suggest the sooner you practice relaxing and visualizing the future as you desire it, the sooner you too will attain success. Michelangelo thought three dimensionally before he started to chip away at a piece of marble that he would produce a beautiful sculpture out of. Edward G. Robinson bought postcards of old masters and visualized exactly where he would hang them, before he actually owned them. Charlene Tilton, who played Lucy in Dallas, visualized getting the part for the job. Conrad Hilton used to play at hotels as a young boy, years before he became a hotelier.
All my heroes, who I love talking about, Getty, Howard Hughes, Onassis, Edison and Winston Churchill all used to take time out to relax and visualize the future as they desired it. I can’t stress this point too heavily. This is the golden thread that runs delicately through this whole work-book. J. Paul Getty wrote a number of books and articles on making money. Those books were down to earth guides to help executives in business. Getty always maintained that there were no secrets to success or magical incantations to be uttered. Getty puts his philosophy down to hard work and good executive decisions.
What I say is many people become successful intuitively and have found the faculty of being able to visualize, very clearly, the future as they desire it. Something must have prompted Getty to entitle his autobiography, ‘As I See It’. Many of my students, who have completed my biocomputer seminars, have actually astonished themselves with the results they have attained. By persistently visualizing the future in a relaxed mode, many of them have attained goals, they at one time, thought impossible to reach. I too am amazed by some of the things that I have attained for myself through the constant and persistent use of relaxation and visualization.
Before I walked on red hot coals on the Ray Martin Midday Show (while I was on tour in Australia) I visualized myself doing it. I also saw in my imagination, Ray Martin doing the walk with me, which he did. (That was marvelous publicity; we jammed the switchboards for over three hours!) I also visualized talking in front of a massive Amway audience and getting a standing ovation for my one hour biocomputer presentation. These, among many other things have happened to me. I wouldn’t dream of doing a TV or radio interview without visualizing the complete thing in advance.
I always visualize business transactions, in full in my imagination before I enter into any agreements or contracts. The results speak for themselves! I have products selling in over thirty countries around the world, and it’s all come out of a vision that I’ve had. By relaxing and visualizing the things that I wanted to happen in the future, I have accomplished many things. I have absolute proof of how and why the technique works. I have absolute proof that every time I fail to use the technique, failure is inevitable.
I know that if I keep up with the practice of relaxing and visualizing the future as I desire it, I will accomplish a lot more. I also know that if you make the start and persist with the practice, you too, will attain your wildest possible dreams. You will literally dream yourself to riches! I know the secret of success is to relax and visualize the future as you desire it. I imagine you will take a little more convincing, before you start in earnest.
Biocomputer seminars are fun. They’re designed to be. During the course of the weekend we have many coffee breaks to allow our batteries to recharge. During the course of the weekend everyone gets a chance to stand up and say his or her piece. That piece is to help gel and integrate the learning process. Over the years I have learnt more from my biocomputer students than I could ever hope to teach them. I hope you pick up a few pointers too. All the time be looking to see if any of their comments apply to you. Before we start a biocomputer seminar I ask my students what they want out of the weekend. It’s interesting to see how they develop over the weekend, their skepticism falls away, their confidence rises, as a whole new world unfolds!

- Recognize that many of the things that you may have done successfully in the past may have been intuitive.
- Many people who have become successful intuitively have failed and never reached great heights again, because they didn’t know what they did to get there in the first place.
- Realize that you have fantastic control over your life and your environment, because you actually and factually know the secret of conscious success.
- It helps tremendously if we really do know what creates successful outcomes rather than use hit and miss methods.
- You know that conscious success depends on relaxing and visualizing the future as you desire it.
